Fu, Lu and Shou are three gods that are sometime called the “Three Star” with the meaning of blessings, prosperity and longevity. Fu Star is usually carrying one baby or Jia Pu (a record of a clan’s history and lineage) to symbolize good fortune and harmony for the family. Lu Star sitting in the middle and carrying ru yi stands for power and prosperity. He is the god of high rank and affluence. Sau Star with a domed head, carrying a peach and walking stick, is the god of longevity.
Fu Lu Shou are considered to be personified deities. People are very good luck when they get these three things( harmony, prosperity and long life)together. Fu Lu Shou are commonly used in Chinese culture to denote the three attributes of a good life.

They was in the same age and in the Asian’s cultute, it is refered to a comfortable life. Fu and his wife aslo died at the same time without illness. He carries a child on his arm which symbolizes family hapiness, numerous progeny, good descendant luck, united family, peace of virtue and dead without illness.Moreover, Fu is refer to Jupiter, the planet Jupiter was believed to be auspicious.
How about Lu? He was was a poor man born named Shi Fen. Given a minor position at court, he worked hard, constantly learning, so that ultimately he gained a high position. He is also always seen in the center of the three deities, carries a gold coin. Therefore, many people belive it is the symbol of scepter of office and prosperity and it is considered as success and also has the hidden meaning of bussiness being smooth and everthing going well as well.

It is said that if you prominently place the Fu Lu Shou in a main room of your home, such as the living or dining room, they will bring unity to your family and endless good fortune to the residents of the house. When the Fu Lu Shou face your dining table, they are believed to bring an abundance of blessings, making sure that you are never in need and have sufficient resources for the whole family to be happy. Obtaining support from those around you, the Fu Lu Shou should be displayed behind your desk or work area bringging in wealth luck and success luck if they are standed on the reception desk or the manager’s office.
